About Craig's General Contracting and Electric
Craig's General Contracting was founded in 1991 by Craig Huyett. After graduating high school he began to pursue his trades career at 3M. In 1991 He acquired his West Virginia contractors license and began his small business. After troubleshooting his likes and dislikes he decided to go back to school for an Associates and Electrical & Mechanical license. Craig graduated from Shepherd college and James Rumsey in 2001 with an Associate of Science and a Journeyman's Electrical license. Four years later he obtained his Masters in Electrical. Craig's General Contracting was then changed to Craig's General Contracting & Electrical LLC in 2004. We have since been performing many different trades and services and have been in business for 30 years!

Craig has been running the business since 1991. He has a West Virginia and Virginia Master Electrical License, West Virginia and Virginia Contracting License, West Virginia Master Plumbing License, and his West Virginia HVAC and EPA License.

Annie Office Manager (left) has been working for Craig's since 2021. She has been trained in electrical and office management. Arely Office Secretary (right) has been working for Craig's since 2022. She has been trained in office management. Baby Waylon is in training for project management.

Doug has been working for Craig's since 2005. He is our know it all guy! Doug has been trained in electrical, contracting, plumbing, and HVAC. Doug is a part of our pool and hot tub installation crew.

Davan acquired his Electrical Journeyman's License in 2022 and has been working for Craig's since 2021. He has been trained in electrical and contracting. Davan manages our pool and hot tub installation crew and is our service call specialist!
